Throughout these 2 weeks, Nooby_Noob have learnt quite a number of things.
1. Although I dun have a GF, I still have many nice friends there for me.
2. My existence does some good to the world (I did a lot of counseling and persuaded a friend to quit smoking).
3. Self-assessment is very important. Recently just realised that I am getting nowhere in the class position >.<"
4. Choose your friends wisely. Do not allow yourself to waver because of certain bad influence.
1.
Today woke up @3am to complete my WinSock2. Then I saw my friend coming online. Within few seconds he started chatting with me. This means I still exist within the circle of friends. In school, there are pple who are willing to chat or guide me to self-assessmenet as well as projects. Really thanks, friends.
2.
Still remember last time how I hated my aunt. I was pretty much down in the dumps those days. Now there are friends who calls to chat or ask me for my opinion. Well, now they all seem to be much cheerful than before. It's as though I have somehow removed the depression, which i kinda have last time. It feels good. There is this skater friend of mine who is trying to quit smoking, probally because of all my negative comments. But hey, the world is getting better because I am around =D.
3.
Just yesterday I started to realise that I am going to fall to the bottom of the *LOSER pit if i don't change (I mean academic-wise). Hence I drew up a plan for my life. In the process, I also learnt that self-control is just a matter of *want or not. If I am able to switch my mindset from being controlled to be in control, I believe I would achieve great. Of course, desires and the lack of will power will cause you to be controlled, but do remember this: it all comes down the simple move of switching your mindset. Hopefully my hardwork will be recognised soon ;D
4.
Adrian Lim is a very good example of negative influence. Not that I am saying he's bad, but his style of work is very much orthodox. He practically never attend school at all (methophoric), and his survival technic is not something nice to copy. Although I don't like it, he's there, he's there. We can't erase his existance. So I wanna say this: Choose your friends wisely. Good Friends will not only boost your morale but brings color to your life. A very good example is Nigel's group. Just recently I hung around with them and I learnt alot of things. They are the people that will keep you on the ball, if not, push you to the top ;D Thanks, good friends.
