I understand that once i reached MA, things will be easier. Somehow, i'm travelling, busy here and there and half of my holiday is gone. Just like today, supposedly a meeting for someone to share his experience from the trip to CHINA with us. It's something i'm interested to know. But before that, I've let Camelot down by not being productive.

*I'm blind*
Knowing what lies ahead, yet unable to see them. V.Era can bring me an easier life in the future, but for now i can't see the need for that future. All i know is i'll do whatever i like, tt's being good at the thing i do (Music and IT related stuff). I don't feel the need for love as i can't even wander off to that area. I have lost my holiday, the holiday where I can enjoy, skate, think and jio girls out.

Still remember one morning when Mom suddenly wake me up, asking me what time I had to be in office. That very moment when i woke up i had no idea what she was talking about. Blank mind, where the first thing that approached it was WORK. I was so blur that i knocked myself once just to figure out what she was talking about.

Now that i have 2 days break from Camelot, V.Era starts calling me back. I know that the products benefits certain pple (which is the only point i see now), but I don't like the idea of appointment. Was thinking i really don't want to rush anything from V.Era, but seems i still haven't achieve that yet.

Out of this "mess", i suddenly had the idea of keeping a pet hermit. Have you watched it? It's a show you wouldn't wanna miss. I think Transformer hasn't really changed. It has always been nice since it's first cartoon ( if i'm not wrong =_+"). Just that over the years, it's slowly fading into the background. I'm supprised how the people modelled the Transformers. Whatever 3D software they use, it must have been painstaking.

War isn't just in the movies...
This morning I was as usual, sleeping in the bus. Recently my life has been going so well that I thought something wrong is going to happen (as I have seen from the pattern of life). There was I thinking the Russians must have replied our mails with the new API (i'm talking about my work here). In fact, I left home so early until I met the office lady who is incharge of opening the office's door.

Then I went for Mac's Big Breakfast (nothing too sweet to make me sleepy =D ). And I sill ended up being 30mins earlier than required time. The office lady was supprised and couldn't believe I didn't sleep for the night (logically... since i couldn't sleep late if i didn't sleep at all >.<"). To my relieve, there's no new mail from either Russia or the Company. That means... there's still war...

lemme esplain:

Most of the time we are in office because of the school's rule. To say, this work doesn't even require me to me in office every weekday. So... nothing to do right? I taught my friend the art of playing MineSweeper. There we are, cleraing minefields in the middle of our "war". Infact, i got so bored that I started typing this crap.

BTW, i still haven't figure out the "what time is it" game... partially lazy to think also. Well... should end here since I feel like visiting the bomb shelter (toilet) now.

Mingle around

Lately have been joining my bro to hang out with his friend. Got to know alot of LJs from ODAC (LJ == Lao Jiao, not lan jiao).

Yesterday night joined my bro to skate in Esplanade underpass. He was there because he wanted to see the ODAC freshies, skate in the underpass, as well as hang out with ODAC LJs. Good thing aunt had cooked me something and he brought it along, hence my dinner was settled. After work, took bus 36 and ended up spending some time in a traffic jam. I'm supposed to take for 10 stops to reach Cityhall, not realizing that it actually goes 1 round around Suntec and Esplanade. I got quite du lan actually when the bus passed Suntec. Afterall, i'm circling around my destination (Esplanade underpass) when I could easily skate there. When I saw the bus heading towards esplanade, I dropped at the nearest bus station. Glad to see Mark when I reached there. Think I have accepted him as a bro somehow, when we always bluff people that we are brothers.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

Harry's Bar (same night):

I didn't know Pattrick was treating the LJs at a bar. Initially they wanted to visit Harry's at HollenV. Think my bro made some arrangement, we didn't go there. Instead, we hung around esplanade for any bar. Then my bro went to draw money, coincidentally infront of another Harry's.

It's the first time I ever visit a bar. Hence obviously I can't tell anything from the menu. By then I was totally sweaty, hence left my butt mark on it's seat. I tried 4 drinks in total, and it's obvious which has higher alcohol concentration. The LJ group that was there consist of only pleasant pple, but apparently "wei-duo-li-ya" wasn't herself. I don't believe she got drunk, but from the things that she was focusing on, it's easy to tell that something was wrong (wrong things at the wrong time). Anyway, I think I still don't know how to enjoy wine, or is it another incident like "siew mai" when the first one I ate was bad?

My bro started to play lame games. Game which I still couldn't decipher how to win. According to Pattrick and Bro, the game is too simple and only stupid people could understand. Guess i'm not dumb enough yet >_<", like "wei-duo-li-ya" who is also too smart for it.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

After that bro and I decided to skate awhile longer at the underpass. Then we had some tourist taking our picture and applusing for us. Then we skated through citylink and took the train from Cityhall home.

Travelling back...

Last Saturday was BBQing for Raechel's BDay in ECP. She is one of the LJs if you are wondering who i'm taking about. Bro and I set off on uncle's lorry for 888 in the noon for lunch. Then there seem to be some comunication problem and everyone had to compromise as where to meet up. Then we went to "Shing Song" the supermarket for the BBQ items. Met Reachel and Vict (Victoria, not victim) there when I had to carry out my duty as a "che zhen" (not the initial D that kind, but the one watching after the lorry, just as God watches over us =D). Then we went to TenderFresh for the meat and then to East Coast.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

BBQ:

We wheeled everything for the BBQ from the carpark to the pit, which was freaking far from skating rink. There Vict showed off her skillz from ODAC and almost smeared my face with charcoal. Venom from ODAC was there and brought alot of entertainment. Gawd... I can nvr forget her name now, as it has already become a classic. I skated slowly to the rink, and learnt a few combos from PH. Then slowly skated my way back to the pit. By the time I returned to pit there were a lot more people. I didn't help out, as there were people cooking at the BBQ pit already. So all I did was eat, and skate about.

After I got full, I went playing with this scavenger cat. After a while it vomitted, and something like an alien came out of it. It's my first time seeing a cat vomit in that fashion. The the cat simply lazy around, ignoring me who was skating beside it. My brothers came (Bro and Mark), hence I started to play the song from my handphone aloud and skated to it. Supprising I can slalom for around 155 sec and kicking only 2/11 cones. Was shagged after that and soon Raechel was about to cut her cake, when my bro realised that he had lost one of his Nuts (the one from the skate's ankle support, nothing more).

Then... all the BDay rituals, including cake smash was carried out. There is this BDay "explosive" that came alive when venom tried to Sabo someone. It made quite a din in the night but what comes out of it is a nice burst of glitter and a bloated BDay well-wishing inflated bag.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

So it's all over, but since i'm the "che shen" and my bro is the driver of the day, we Koped majority of the raw leftovers, sent a few gals home. Those at the back of the lorry had some entertainment with our guitar. We refueled the lorry and returned it to uncle. Bro and I had some Kebab Microwaved as supper before I sleep.

Travelling back...

Some days ago it was Rachel and Vivien's actual Birthday. Anybody who knows me will know I don't like to celebrate Birthday, but Vivien keeps reminding me that it was going to be her birthday. Logically I wouldn't ignore pretty girls as far as I could, hence after 6pm I went shopping for her present.

I remembered some time ago I asked her how to break a girl's heart. I think instinctively she thought I was saying how to soften a girl's heart and let her accept you. She replied "sincerity" instantly, and soon realise that it wasn't what I want to know. Somehow she thought it's cruel for me to know how to break a girl's heart and never gave me an answer for it. Well... that means I can't just give her any dirt from the streetz. There I was, carrying a total of dunnoe how many kg (laptop + skate), walking around the basement of PP building, going from shop to shop. Eventually, I got her present and the birthday card. It was there that saw Raechel and my Bro shoppping for her BDay cake. I got invited to the supper that night, for her actual birthday.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

Supper:

That night Bro drove me and Rachel to some prata place. There I saw Venom for the first time. There were 2 girls there. If anything were to describe the 2 girls together, it would be <green>. The other girl is Adeline, one of the ABC girls I'm supposed to "have met". After we ordered our prata, Pattrick came (only met him once last year, but we still remember each other).
After the arrival of her Birthday (12am), we went to "wei-duo-li-ya's" Castle. There I met Harry (vict's bro, same age as me) and learned that he has-a-thing for Venom. I'm supprised that Vict actually have 2 fridges filled with food, but it's only logical since Castle is miles away from commoner's market. Then we had Pattrick holding the cake and... Birthday rituals. We had some ice-cream and started taking photos.

Somehow my bro had this idea of pushing Pattrick to Raechel, hence asked Pattrick to hold her and take photo. To be fair, my bro was made to hold Vict. Then someone saw that we had even number of girls and guys and suggested that Harry carry Venom and I carry Adeline. I wouldn't mind actually, but since my arms aren't strong and Harry is busy, it's called off in silence. Then we left the castle f'or home.

~-~~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

So now you know how I met Venom, Adeline, Harry and Pattrick. Mark (my brother's younger brother, now my brother also) is the one who taught my Bro how to skate, and my Bro is the one who taught me how to skate... ...

Travelling back...

Some days ago my bro told me he wanted to teach someone how to skate in East Coast on that weekend. Since now i'm working in Parkway Parade, I grow slightly attached to East Coast Park. I went to ECP on that weekend. While skating to Fort Road, I met Mark who was trying to close a conversation with his ex. There he told me there's ABC girls at my destination, who are supposed to learn slalom from my brother. By the time I reached there, the ABC girls were gone, leaving with only Raechel and Vict. That's the first time I met these 2 ladies. After that we had dinner together, the 4 of us.

That how i get to know a bunch of new friends.

New Life - Out of Second Life

The FYP ended... in the end it gets clear that I am the one dragging the whole team down . Sadded.... but it's something i can't change anymore. All I can do now is to strive in my IA and modules to make up for it.

Industrial Attachment.
It started off with Prime Industrial Building. Frank to say I didn't really know what to expect. This company haven't really produced any console games yet. Then on the first day we go to know we are working on LUA scripting. It's quite a pleasant place to be, but I'm using someone else's workplace. Today she's back, and it seems she wanted her place back. JW and I both agreed that she's the only "lookable" lady in the office.
Anyway, this coming Tues our workplace is shifted to Parkway Parade (PP building). That means I have to leave house at least 1hr 45mins before 9am. That means I'll have to waste a lot of time traveling. Well, least they close at 5pm and after that I can skate at ECP.

Junction

Anybody miss FJ? All of them says the new FJ was better than this KouFu (partially because of a smaller variety of choies). What I think...

Business is probably gonna be the same or slightly worse. Think of the reason why FJ closed down, u'll probaby realise it might be the same for KouFu. I tried the Dim Sum stall, and everything was like too oily. I would Prefer the dessert to the fried stuff. Guess majority will share the same view as me.

But hey, that's not the only junction I face. Yesterday I was called out during my FYP. Danny Koh was there and he told me that I was selected for IA in China. Obviously the first reaction was WTH? followed by how did they choose people? But then after a few moments, I think...
I'm in solitude now... my life's a chore. Since it's almost the same, it wouldn't make a difference. Further more an overseas IA trip might be good for my resume. Hence I keep my mind open. Even so, it's obvious that majority of my friends are like so Anti-China (there's always something bad about China that they'll talk about). In fact, if everything is OK, my parents agree and some friends are going, I would consider going also, even though I might by away from home for 3 months.

Today I went for the interview. It's definitely a weird feeling, cause "are you deciding whether I am qualified to go" or "do I want to go". Sitting outside the conference room simply reminds you of the famous "You're FIRED" (understand how I feel?). But then again facing this kind of situation i'm automatically set to "DO MY BEST" mode. Almost everybody thinks I am prepared for the interview but to be honest, I really didn't do anything about it. All I do is coming up with logical facts that I can think of in the interview (I was totally honest).
After like 20 mins my turn is over. It is as though if I wanted to go I'll defintiely be in. Soon the day ended. Upon reaching home I told mom about the budget. You probably wouldn't believe her reacion.

Now this decision isn't an issue to me at all, I'm kinda relief actually. Mom totally disagree with the budget. Can't believe she got more emo than anybody else I've seen. She started quoting examples from my sis, and bla-bla-blaaaa~ there goes my worries and 20mins of my life. But i can tell it's not just about the money, there's definitely something that she told me, that is not found in her words. I'm not going nowhere, certainly not giving away my skating life as well as my PC.

Wholey...

Well... you'll probably think i've forgotten about my blog, but NO. Everyday its always in my head, and there's so many things that happened. But for now, i'm ok with life. And hey.... of all pple I didn't realise DIO reads this. I guess she doesn't anymore since i'm like no updates everyday. Anyway, Dio is one of the best people around NYP, very logical and responsible.

Recently I got a Saddist in my FYP (final year project) group, Jason. He definitly lives up to his name as a hardworking and capable designer. What happened is during his "free" time he created bloody gore stuff in our project space. That so cool of him, but too bad his works never got displayed. Anyway, I dunnoe what to say about my team... It's kinda, neither bad nor good.

Life now...
Everymorning 8.45am report in school... Buy $2 nugget and $1.5 bubble tea as breakfast. Sit infront of the PC, script script script. Then later go for chop-chop lunch, come back to do the same stuff. Until 4-5pm i'll take another break, hopefully can get the $1 "Roti-john" (one of the best economical food in school). Then when I come back to lab, somebody will complain "dun eat infront of me" when actually she turned her head to look at me >_<". Think next time i'll just buy another set for her.
After school, reach home 7.30pm. Eat dinner + play guitar until 9pm (dammit, I can play guitar but just can't sing well). Then i'll go for some slalom skate training (latest move is 1 wheel spin and heel-toe travelling screw) until 12am.
That mean... I dun have enough sleep everyday T_T". And... Dun think this is just 1 day of the week, it's 5.

Travelling back in time...
*Before that: I have bad memory as I always forget things I dun have to remember.
As busy as I am ( I still am), I have decided to join a skating competition. That day was blazing hot and we got down to the hockey rink. I can't say I gave my best for the competition, and felt rather EMO after that (got third). Good thing there's Robin who came up to chat. I only realised that people realised I had not used all my high level moves. Well... i'm sure many only know that after that day I got rather burnt.

End Of 3 week project

Yay~! now my game project Withered spirit is out. Although the gameplay isn't there (no storyline etc), the basic graphics are there. It feels as though i didn't do much for my project because everybody have more topic than me. But for all I seem to be the one tt's most "hardworking". Do and do... but noobienoob me just wouldn't produce many results. Haven't really sleep for days, and everyday have to go back to school. For don't know whatever reason my computer doesn't support OpenGL.

And that means...
I don't have as much time as others to code.
I have to go back to school everyday, seizing every minute to code.
Chinese New Year can't code, have to rush on Wednesday onwards.
I get real bored.
I can't sakte for the whole period.
My freestyle slalom deproved T.T"

The overall project turned out sastifying, although many of "WOW" features aren't done by me. Logically speaking I wouldn't really score in this project, so nothing to celebrate here T.T"

Chinese New Year.
It's a good time to collect money. I don't understand why but I get $100 from my aunt for working half-day for her. I got a health boost of $400 in total. One of the days I went to my aunt's house to celebrate. My cousin only get prettier everytime I see her, which reminds me that I am still without a girlfriend. As always, there's sastifying food and alot of noise for a gathering like that. Tomorrow I'm going down again for a reunion dinner. Don't really know what to expect for tomorrow, just hope things will be simple.

Today after school I went to library to brrow some books. Then on the way back there's this couple blocking my way. The fat guy is walking abreast with the girl, leaving a space that can barely fit 1 person in the middle. So suay that I happen to meet then in the underground pass at NYP's exit. After "following" them for some time I realise that the fat guy is actually my primary school friend.
We took the same train and incidentally got under the same SCHOOL (2 courses came out and form a new SCHOOL, SIDM). His life is no better than mine, although he's a designer. Basically he suffers the same fate as me during the 3 weeks. We had a real good chat, and the conculsion: we miss our primary school friends >.<".

That's it... wish me luck in getting my primary school friend's contacts.

Life Update

Recently have been super busy with projects. All the deadline cramps together and we haven't getting any slp for nights. Today is the day which we are "brought back to life". Can you believe this: today Gabriel play until he slp infront of PC (6hrs of sleep). After he woke up he just continue his game. Guess by now you can picture what kind of hell we came from.

We generally did slightly above average for our projects. The power of "Super Heros". Heartfelt thanks to all the crew from Gawdware and Xclamation! (both my team; same member anwyay XD ). To those who sought aid from me, I'm real sorry for being unable to help. There was simply no extra time left. Rest assure after all these sh!t i'll keep in contact with u all. For now, i'll erase myself off the society.

Though those projects are over, our 3 week project is coming. I can picture more of sleepless nights during that period. Well, 3 week from now also means tt it's gonna eat into CNY. What can I say? It's all part and parcel of life.

A Story

A long time ago, there was this newly married couple. Their financial status is so bad that they have to rely on their friends and relatives for help for their daily needs.
One day, the husband told the wife. "Darling, I'm going to leave this house. I'm going to a place faraway to look for a job. I won't be back until I can provide you a comfortable life. I won't know how long is this going to take. But I only have one request from you. Please wait for me and that stay faithful to me and I, of course will stay faithful to you."

After a few days, the husband found a job as a gardener for a rich man's mansion. He requested his boss to promise him this. "Please allow me to work here as long as I want. When the day for me to leave comes, you have to allow me to go. I won't have the need to receive my dough every month, but please deposit them in to an account. When the day I leave is here, please give them to me."
The rich man agreed. This young husband works hard and seldom had rest and never had a holiday. In a blink of an eye, he had worked for twenty years for this rich man. One day, he told his boss, "The day for me to leave is here. I wish to have my dough because I'm going home." The rich man nod his head and said, "We have an agreement in the first place and I'm going to honour this agreement. But, I have a suggestion for you. You can take your dough and leave, or I can give you three advices instead of your dough and leave. Go back to your room and think about. You can give me your answers later."
The husband went back to his room and think about it. After two days of consideration and debation, he went to the rich man.

"I want the three advices."
"But if you took the three advices, you won't have your dough." the rich man reminded him.
"I still want the three advices."

The rich man smile and begins.

"First, never ever go for shortcuts. Unfamiliar and unknown shortcuts might take your life away. Although it's tiring to go the correct way, at least you know you will reach your destination."
"Second, never be curious in anything that seems to be bad. Even if it happens right beside you. Just walk pass it and don't ever take a look at it. Else you might have your life taken away."
"Third, do not ever make decisions when you are in despair or hatred. Or else you will regret forever."
"These are the three advices that I have given you. Here are three buns for you. Two is for you to satisfy your hunger when you are on the journey home. The last one is for you to share with your wife when you reached home."

After leaving his wife for twenty long years, he is on his way back home again. One day, he met a man on the road. The man asked him,

"Where are you going?"
"I'm on the way home."
"How long is this going to take you?"
"I'm going to follow this road for about twenty days before I will reach."
"That's going to take too long! I know a shortcut, it will just take you a few day instead."

The husband was very happy when he heard that. As he started on the shortcut, he remembered the rich man's warning. He turned back and follow the original route instead.

After a few days, he heard from other travellers that the shortcut is a trap set up by bandits. He thanks the rich man in his heart for the first advice that he had given him. At this time, this husband is tired from all the walking, so he decided to stay at an inn. He paid for the room and went to sleep. In the middle of the night, he was awoken by a terrible scream. He jumped up and run to the door, planning to take a look what has exactly happened. Suddenly, the rich man's second advice came in to his mind. He decided not to open his door, instead bolted it and went back to sleep. The next morning, he woke up and went to the cafe for coffee. The owner of the inn saw him and asked,

"Didn't you hear the screams last night?"
"Yea, I did."
"Aren't you curious about what happened last night?"
"No, I'm not."
"Do you know that you are the first customer that has walked out alive due to last night's incident? My only son has mental sickness. He screamed last night to attract attention. Those who responded were killed."

The husband thanks the rich man for his advice in his heart again and continue his journey home. Finally, almost at dusk, he could saw his humble little home. The was smoke coming out from the chimney. He could almost see the faint image of his wife walking around. Although it was almost dark, he could see a man laying his head on the knees of his wife. She was touching his head and playing with his hair. The husband was outraged and wanted to kill the both of them. He took a deep breath and quickened his pace. At this moment, the rich man's third advice suddenly struck him. He stop and think for awhile. He decided to spent a night outside to calm down before he went home.
The next day morning, his emotion has calm down. He think for awhile and told himself, "I couldn't kill my wife. I will go back to the rich man and ask him to take me in again. But before that, I have to let my wife know that I have never been unfaithful to her."
He walked to his humble little house and knock gently on it's door. His wife opened the door, took a few moments to get over it and jump in to his hug, hugging him tightly. He wish to push his wife away but he couldn't do so. With tears in his eyes, he told his wife...

"I have been faithful to you and yet you betrayed me."
"What are you talking about? I have been faithful to you for the last twenty years!"
"What about the guy who you have been with yesterday afternoon?"
"That is our son! I was pregnant when you leave me. He is already twenty this year."

The husband hug his wife tightly and cried. He felt thankful to the rich man for the three advices. The husband walk in and hug his son. Evening came and the wife started preparing dinner. The husband started telling his son about his life for the last twenty years. During dinner time, the husband took out the bun and told his wife.

"This is the results after twenty years of hard work. I'm very sorry that I can't give you a good life."
"It doesn't matter. I can live with you by eating buns till the day of our lives ended."

When the husband broke the bun, something drop out from it. It was his wages for the last twenty years...

Awakening of the Super Sayen

This isn't about Dragonball or whatever comic you might think of. After months of slacking, I have decided it's time to really start on my project. I have been like a baby sleeping soundly in it's cradle, living everyday learning new stuff yet not doing anything constructive. I guess I gonna start getting flame on my ass today. As always, one has to feel the pain before realising that it's time to change. I'm not taking today just as another incident of burnt ass, I haven't been up to my words for my comrads. I can picture from today, I'll be "officially" labeled loser. Al l the planning that I had made is gonna come today. I SWEAR IT! TODAY!

First Day OF NY

Today... wondered why I woke up and can't get back to sleep, although i was seriously lack of it. So I was lying in bed... didn't think of anything though, because in my mind I know I need sleep. After sometime, I realise that it's not going to work. So I crawled out of bed, got myself to wash up. Then found something meaningful to do =D. I have decided to help my sis fix her Lappy. There I was, looking like a pro doing something big; sitted 45deg from PC with her Lappy on me. I managed to find her Graphic Driver, which I think she lost it while uninstalling some AliBaBa programs. Next I updated her Spyware remover tool and did a scan. There's FREAKING 58 threats found. Last but not least, there's virus to remove. Although Norton is present, I don't trust it that much. I had a freaky virus that norton can't remove, yet AVG did it in the first scan. Now, this night, I am taking the time to reinstall AVG in her comp. GONNA BLAST ALL IMPURITIES OFF! Wahahahahahahaaaaa~!

As I was working on her lappy, time flew. Soon I found myself almost late for meeting Wee. But 1 thing I am very glad: I finally met Viv online. Had a quick chat with her, but soon regret because I didn't have enough time to chat with her =X. She's attractive and certainly lives up to her name. This is one girl as seen from my point of view that doesn't have much shortcomings. I can't really tell whether I want her for the rest of my live, but she's definitely a pleasant friend to have.

Before any gurl out there get depressed, read the following first:
I only plan to get steady AFTER NS. That's when I'm sure I can give the gurl a good time. I am not going steady now because there's simply too many factors in life obstructing me from doing so. IF U LIKE ME PLS LET ME KNOW! BOOK A PLACE IN MY HEART before I totally forget who you are =X

Wadever... life goes on. So, I met up with Wee and Geok, went to the army market for his NS stuff. Here I want to announce 1 very important point to all GUYS out there: NEVER LET A GURL LEAD THE WAY TO SOMEWHERE WHICH THEY ARE VERY CERTAIN THEY KNOW HOW TO GO. Why???? Experience tells me that ladies really really have a bad sense of direction. Well, sometimes you might get to the destination, but rest assure, you will NEVER GET THERE IN THE SHORTEST TIME POSSIBLE. Think of it this way: a 10min walk can become 40min if they lead the way. So to all guy, please SCREW THIS INTO YOUR HEAD!

Ok I was actually lucky this time. Thanks to Wee we didn't waste that 30mins. To be frank, the army market is quite an eye-opener for me. It's my first time being there (go ahead and call me SuaKu =X). Besides being untra messy, there's a huge varity of things that you can't find elsewhere. In this case, this includes the glorious food that comes along with it. The hawker is just a level below all that mess. Even if your eyes tells you that it's not exactly a pleasant place to be, your toungue will confirm that this is the heaven that you longed for in your whole life XD. Ok, that's not exactly the case. But the food there is really nice. For a certain food, I never knew they can taste so good. We were there criticizing how bad the foodcourt are compared to traditional hawkers. Well, we even had a friendly chat with the hawker. Believe it or not... When the cleaner's "push-tray" was beside me, I took the initiative to put all our used utensils. The cleaner actually rejected my act, and took them to the tray herself. These are excellent services that deserve people's acknowledgement. If you are really free, it's worth dropping by that area smply for a meal. I believe this is the kinda hang-out life I will have in a year's time.

Then I went to Kallang for a group skate. It's alittle sian... and I don't believe the ground is any better than out homeground. It's ok to slalom there, but there's nothing nice that I wanted to learn. But as always, I give my best for self practice, and managed to improve. But I ended up seriously hungry. The day ended with my bro driving me home. Quite a unique start to my 2007.

New Year

Announcement: My HP finally gave up on me. No Hp now, don't bother to call or sms me.

This Hp has been with me for over 2 years. So far, it has endured sweat, rain water and few falls. When i open it up, the inside the actually rusting. This is the result of carrying your phone while practising slalom tricks. Luckily it's already passed 2 years. Now waiting to get another phone for $0.00.

New year isn't exactly here yet, but i hope it'll be a smooth one. This year has been a fine year for me. I haven't really met any huge obstacles yet, hope that it's better this coming year.

Hey, I have come out with my own move for rollerblading. Just too bad that i can't see it first hand. Dunno whether it's nice or not. In fact i just came back from that good rollerblade session, which i reached home at around 5am. It's cool to see more girls joining us for skating, but I'm also afraid that they are intimidated by us =X ( how ironic). The worse case is gurl that just come for 1 session and never comes again. I hope this wouldn't happen to "Joann" (dunno how to spell it actually).

I'm 18, hence supposedly in NS now. Though this didn't happen to me, I fetched my sec school mate from Pasiris for his first time booking out(the place where the army left them). SH, Geok and I took the time to have dinner with him at Causeway Point. Wee is definitely broke, so his meal was on me (though I am no better =X). From that dinner, I got to know many rulez of a soldier. It's either me or the rulez, but one of us is stupid (I don't understand why some rulez exist, they don't fall under the "common sense" category). NS, I am coming for you in 1 years time. I want to get something that stretches my limit in NS, I want to be fit and truely a survivor. Then again maybe I'll find myself stupid for thinking this way in the future =X. It's been some time since I last saw SH also. Glad to know that she is still living a happy life, but slightly bored with the NTUC job XD. Since it's only a walk from home, i think i'll go disturb her someday XD.
By the way i didn't make up the name SH, she's really another SH. And she happened to be one of my dear junior XD.

************************************************************************************
Do you think that updating my blog daily will make it more entertaining? I know people who does that. I think there's no point in telling others my day-in-day-out activities, unless something interesting happened. It'll probably end up something like "Nick's Story" in the NAVY advertisement. To say, I wanted to blog during Christmas, but an earthquake in Taiwan knocked internet connection to blogger out.

Last but not least: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

more knowledges...

Hm... reccently because of mo~mo friend of mine, i realise something very important. You may believe in god, but believe me, i think it's no difference from smooking.
Firstly, you spend a portion of your life studying bible. Let's say you can live up to a ripe old 100, but you have already wasted 14 years of your life. That's excluding those special gatherings that you make every now and then.
Secondly, once you realise that you aren't really carefree in your life, you start to hate the life that you devoted to god. There's an empty hole created in you, which worse come to wose can cause depression and self tourture. You dun wanna get into this shit.

So why believe in god? There's a better alternative to believing in god. That is, to believe in yourself =D. Start taking control over your life and learn to be stronger (not in the sense of believing in god). The true way of enjoying life is to find your very own way of life.

Seba...
Well, recently dunno wth happened. Suddenly my bro decided to buy me a new pair of skates. I don't really feel excited over it to begin with, since i had no desire for it. But, when it's in the house, i really begin to like it. I promise i will never slide with that skates, though for now it's still alittle too tight =S.
Oh yea! the main point is, I have learnt more new skating moves every since. So if you have the chance, do come down or make a time with me. I don't mind spending time to teach you how to skate or simply entertain you with my stunts. In fact, I am getting better than I ever was.

Girls...
Well, this is one thing that i really dun understand. One fine morning i woke up because of somebody spamming SMS. Who on earth would spam SMS when he/she could have simply called? As expected, i started to read them 1 by 1. Imagine one day you wake up to find a girl message you saying that she like you? Maybe you couldn't get how i feel then, but for that particular day, I fell rather good. LOL, you call this the power of love?
Then again, I have a feeling that she is avoiding me. She also mentioned that she's such a burden and I dun understand it at all... I believe, when you start to read those senseless logic, you'll get puzzled too. Still, all I can say is, what's in the head of those gals?

School...
Hm... recently due to some crazy Auditioning and abit of personal life (skating and badminton etc.) I didn't get to log into my usual MSN. This brought me further from my school mates. You may think it's bad, but it's actually not. When I go solo, I can feel the school's weight almost totally. I have been getting my stuff done on time and so on. Kinda good.
The main point is, it's always better to have some independence. As i mentioned earlier, choose your friends wisely. Not someone who plays game or sleep every school hour. Having assessed youself, I begin to realise that the biggest enemy is myself. It's not about how well the others are doing, but rather, can I stay firm and steady ON THE BALL.

... enough for now, i'm rather sleepy actually. Today just realised that i am one of the only few who finished my modelling on time. Cool right? Hm... Too sleepy to go on le, hope i can wake up to skate later on.

*New knowledge

Throughout these 2 weeks, Nooby_Noob have learnt quite a number of things.
1. Although I dun have a GF, I still have many nice friends there for me.
2. My existence does some good to the world (I did a lot of counseling and persuaded a friend to quit smoking).
3. Self-assessment is very important. Recently just realised that I am getting nowhere in the class position >.<"
4. Choose your friends wisely. Do not allow yourself to waver because of certain bad influence.

1.
Today woke up @3am to complete my WinSock2. Then I saw my friend coming online. Within few seconds he started chatting with me. This means I still exist within the circle of friends. In school, there are pple who are willing to chat or guide me to self-assessmenet as well as projects. Really thanks, friends.

2.
Still remember last time how I hated my aunt. I was pretty much down in the dumps those days. Now there are friends who calls to chat or ask me for my opinion. Well, now they all seem to be much cheerful than before. It's as though I have somehow removed the depression, which i kinda have last time. It feels good. There is this skater friend of mine who is trying to quit smoking, probally because of all my negative comments. But hey, the world is getting better because I am around =D.

3.
Just yesterday I started to realise that I am going to fall to the bottom of the *LOSER pit if i don't change (I mean academic-wise). Hence I drew up a plan for my life. In the process, I also learnt that self-control is just a matter of *want or not. If I am able to switch my mindset from being controlled to be in control, I believe I would achieve great. Of course, desires and the lack of will power will cause you to be controlled, but do remember this: it all comes down the simple move of switching your mindset. Hopefully my hardwork will be recognised soon ;D

4.
Adrian Lim is a very good example of negative influence. Not that I am saying he's bad, but his style of work is very much orthodox. He practically never attend school at all (methophoric), and his survival technic is not something nice to copy. Although I don't like it, he's there, he's there. We can't erase his existance. So I wanna say this: Choose your friends wisely. Good Friends will not only boost your morale but brings color to your life. A very good example is Nigel's group. Just recently I hung around with them and I learnt alot of things. They are the people that will keep you on the ball, if not, push you to the top ;D Thanks, good friends.

Slalomania 2006

I took part in the Freestyle Slalom yesterday. Now I became something roasted ( sunburnt). It was a good experience and I am glad i didn't fall throughout all my runs. I didn't leave any regret, for I brought with me home the Slalomania shirt, cool Slalomania bottle, lot of experience and some photos of myslef XD. Although I didn't perform my 100%, I guessed it's the same for everybody else. Somehow I wasn't really affected by the crowd. I am glad to see all the friends from finesse came down. All of us passed the qualifying round and we did really well.

Gladly announcing Braden as the 3rd fastest speed slalomiser and Ernest as the fourth Slide master in Singapore! (We all know that Ernest is the best in SG, just that he freaking fell from his first position =S). I am so proud of them =X.

During the noon it suddenly rained. The sliding competition came to a halt and they shifted to bishan park. (pretty lame heh? you expect that place to be dry when it's raining heavily here?) Naturally, I didn't follow them down. The rest of the day is pretty much our usual routine.

Although the competition ended, the road to Style slalom doesn't end. In fact, it pretty much started yesterday. Me taking my first step into the world as a style slalom player.

First Week of school

**** this word verification system... sometimes the letters simply looks confusing and now the chunk of blog that I typed is all gone. *#$&(*#&$(*$(#@&$*(@#$

Frankly speaking, the firts week felt like 2 weeks. Maybe I am a little stressed up over it, but I kinda like the new timetable; the first 2 days are packed, but the rest are pretty relaxed. We are loaded with projects, but I think I am still on the ball. Then again, we face teaming problems; somebody we "don't like" attempted to join our team. Sian lah... least I have downloaded Silent Hill OST should last me throughout sometimes. Then again school start already, dun really have the time to coach people. Low on cash... sian ar...

My fellow skaters ar... dunno what to say them. Everytime we meet in the basketball court to supposedly train. They sit down to chit chat, then start to do their routine. Take out lighter then start to smoke. I am really thankful that Jerry shared his story. Hopefully the impact is there, I dun wish to see them regretting their life. Their behaviour, similar to hungry cats. Whenever a prey passed by they would signal to each other. Then the poor lady is always being discussed about. Friends, wish that they stay happy forever.

Slalomania (annual skating) is coming. Initially, I thought that I wasn't good enuogh for competition; I can't do Wheeling (1 wheel) and Footgun (squatting move). But my fellow skaters keep pushing me to join. SO... ok lo... I aim for the slalomania shirt XD. Just join the competition to get the shirt. I am getting better with more stylo-milo moves. So those that are reading this stuff, give me your moral support, ok? Whatever it is, it comes, it comes.

Skate Skate Skate...

Recently haze nearly caused me to be sick.
LAST Saturday I experimentally taught a student from Finesse in East Coast. Good experience, but I was too serious. The boss emphaize that one cannot teach if he/she is too serious. The main problem here is that I have no confident, although the lady is a rich banker and is pretty.

After that class, I skated around to scout for *friendly. Then I saw Jerry. He told me that he was going for a CHC party at somewhere after Bedok Jetty. I followed to get a drink as I was getting throat irritation back then. Once there I found a spot and relaxed with my mp3 buddy. Then suddenly there is this guy that came walking to me and we started chatting. Soon, I realised that he was wearing CAPCOM shirt and learned that he is a full time game review writer. That means, he gets to play all console games for free and earns 1.8k per month. So cool, hence i got his number =D.

Then later that celebration suddenly Jerry became a birthday boy (his birthday is this coming friday, they celebrated earlier for him). They tried to SABO him all the way. In the end he got thrown down to the sea and got all wet =S. The celebration ended with Jerry and I demo our slalom skill to promote that sport.

THE following day I accompanied my friends to their skating demo. It's meant to promote a skating company that gives lessons. I followed with the intention of enjoying the block party and give them moral support ONLY. Then when I reach there they gave me a company shirt and asked me to join in the demo. The whole demo wasn't well coordinated as it was a last minute effort. We had a bit of embarrassment and a lot of fun for it. That day I felt like I am already part of their company. They treated me to dinner, asked me to join in the demo and I participated in some of their discussion.

THE following day, Monday, I had my regular skating session. After lights out, I chatted for quite a while with Edmund (another skater). Then I realised that I should try Stair Riding as it's part of the urban skill. We winded up at 888. My first attempt was rather unstable. Second one went better. Third time I fell like a paper (edmund mentioned the paper), soft and impactless. Getting an aberration of the size bigger then 2 50cent coin, I was adviced to stop trying for the day. I will definitely learn to Stair Ride one day.

THE following day I went for instructor training with Finesse. Later that day I was in ChongZheng Primary to help them out and learn at the same time. That day I really learnt a lot as I corrected a problematic student. Later that day I was back to HomeGround to skate. By now I have sort of gain control over a Korean move (looks good!) which I have been practicing for like 3 days. Other than that, nothing much interesting happened.

Just a thought

Through the boring night I began to flip through youtube searching for Street Fighter Alpha 3. I realise that majority of the street fighter video are boring. I could have posted my own video, which would probably own them. Life have been rather boring nowadays. I just ended the life of the left rear wheel of my blades. Time to change wheels...
Out of this boredom, remembered what Jerry (fellow blader) told me. Now I feel a rush to complete a 10km jog.

Good luck to those receiving their prelim results today.

Urban Crime Scene

It's like a normal skating Saturday. That night there a urban skating session starting from 8pm, meeting point, the Memorial park beside the Padang. So I was in East Coast during the day enjoying my Saturday as usual. Then it started to rain around 5pm. Therefore, I arrived at the memorial earlier, around 5.30pm.

Urban started while the remaining Ryders weren't there. Somehow they managed to catch up. But, the route they took was so boring that we, Ryders decided to create our own route. We went around few places, took a few pictures and so for... ... We reached the meeting point at around 11.30pm. On the way there, we met up with some FKers. They threw stuff at us and scolded us without us provoking them.

Today, Edwin recommended a slalom master to me, *WenLing. Learnt something today, not too complicated but not easy to perfect. Then upon reaching home, news reported that a fight broke out on the path of my urban route, and it was a bloody scene. I can't help thinking that those FKers were involved... ...

Semester's result

Yesterday was nervously waiting for my result, almost to the point of counting down to 12am. Adrian Lim (classmate, not a murderer) informed me that result will be out today, which made me nervous. We were definitely a bit crazy over this. 12am I surfed NYP e-service, as expected, logically, the result wasn't out.

For this night I surfed the net, cooked noodle and watched TV. Steve Irwin's memorial service happened to be on animal planet, live telecast. So after finished watching that, I get myself ready to sleep, which was around 8.33am. Then...

I got a SMS from some AliBaba (unrecognized) number. "Your exam results are ...". Wtf man, I didn't know school SMS people for their results. I didn't do well for this semester. My GPA is only 3.14 /4 with 1A, 2B+, 3B and a C+. I think, I am definitely one of the earliest few, or maybe first to know my result. I was hoping that I would A my Jap, it turned out to be B+ instead. He suggested that i should master my backward slalom skating. Hence today i tried it, really nothing all easy. I realise that i cannot do alot of 1 foot backskating, as in I can't flip from back to front and can't maintain full control over my 1 foot back Fish (Simple left right slalom over 20 cones). These will be my target of the week.

While watching TV I heard my junior wanting to learn how to skate from me. Damn! I am excited over it. I am supposed to go today, but I have lost my confident in playing trombone. Didn't want to get flamed, I have decided to go for sectional band pract first. *WHY DO TROMBONES HAVE TO BE SO EXPENSIVE!!! It's as though Singapore didn't want to produce skilled trombonist. There is always an issue on borrowing instruments in NYP. The pressure is ON, definitely. I am hoping to catch up on the next early lone practice, like 2.5 hrs before band starts. I also tried to contact my sec school band for sectionals (least I can use their instrument to practice my pieces). To my avail, they are having an exam break for like 1 mth?

Few days ago I met Benjamin Lin in East Coast Park. He tested me on my basics and freak, i can't do my backwards basics =S. That day I packed up with 3 *new stunts to practice. By now I think I can pull them off rather easily. At the same time, I am still trying to perfect my Screw.

This Tuesday I went to check out the training session by Finesse (a skate company). They were having the first session for the kids in ChongZheng Primary. Sure enough, there were a lot of commands and norms to memorize. There was a little bit of headache and slight chaos =X. Whatever the case, I hope to see money soon. There is still a little uncertainty on the path that I am going down; Am I supposed to go for instructor training this weekend in eastcoast? Or are they just having another teaching session during the weekend? If this drags for very long, I am going to lose a lot to transportation fee.

Today I got my new pair of spectacles =D I am hoping that this will aid me in gaining better *slalomizing. My bro really invested a lot in me. Thanks bro

About this blog, I didn't really spend time on upgrading it =X. I still haven't reach that 100% free state yet. Once I am there I would probably continue upgrade this blog. It's going to be a slow process.

Rivet gone again... The freaky thing is that the rivet for the calf support on my right blade popped out. Darn it... can't even make some descent money. Later today i went down to ECP to get my blades fixed. There i met the Sg M-cro's (a company tt produce baldes and bladers) followers. The stunts that they pull are very inspiring, definitely reminds me of Kim Sung Jin (World Slalom Champ).
Upon reaching home, i decided to develope my own combo. I wonder how he died. Somehow, I have this feeling that he took hie life forgranted. I thought he died in one of his acts, but from what my friend told me, he died because of the sudden appearence of another predator.

I think...
Wadever the case, he has to die anyway (just like everone does). Living this kind of life, he should have forseen his death. Yet, he choose to continue to live like that. The freaking thing is that Russian Volte is very easy to do =S. As usual, Raymon (fellow casual skater) wakes up late, hence couldn't tag along with me.
I didn't want to waste the trip, so i decided to hang around with Ben's group. There is one stylo-milo move called screw. Since it involves toe-toe, i decided that i can master it by next week. Hence i have found my target of the week.

In the evening i had a concert to catch. I bloody spent too much time with Ben's group, hence got almost late for the concert. I originally planned to bathe before i go, but there was a queue for the showers. Gave up, i can't wait any longer =S. Hence only changed into new clothes and move on. The bus to cityhall was freaking slow. Luckily i glided my way through City Link and made it on time, literally on the last minute.

The concert was nice, though not really very very nice, but it's exciting. Afterall it's my first day of holiday, hence i am just happy about it. The freaking thing is that I SAW MY CLASSMATE ON STAGE!! WTF, Hencil never told me that he'll perform in Esplanade (felt like scolding him mann). As usual, alot of thuoghts about the concert, can't list them all down here =X. Wee Leong (Sec School classmate) is always there with his frustration with EVG band (my sec school). I think he has become a person to consult when you are in distress. Quite cork lah, I seriously think he should take his mind off these stuff. After concert we went to Mac for dinner along Sg River. We managed to catch our last train, thanks to Gang (sec school classmate), who called out of bordem. And yeh, we caught him in the train while it passed Dohby Ghuat.

My freako skating friends jio me to skate though it's way pass 11pm. They told me how wonderful their skating trip in ECP had been. Actually got people clap for their speed slalom? I am slightly green over this. My freestyle slalom in ECP looks good, buy nobody actually praised me. So sian...

But HEY! i finally got a mp3 player! YAY! i'll probably become a true FreeStyler with this mp3. Thanks to my bro who invested heavily on me.

Building a better webby

Today marks the end of my 3 week project. From now on, I'll try to sharpen my HTML/XHTML codes and implement some java applets inside. I will try to make my site as entertaining as possible, so bear with me for this few days.

Although I should be seeing my father off for his trip to China, I'll be busy skating in East Coast Park for the whole of tomorrow, and watching a concert at night.

Oh... I have decided to adopt this name: NOOBIE NOOB NOOB
This name was founded during a casual chatting session during lunchtime for our Popcap project. I think it's super meanngful; I am always a noob, learning new stuff everyday. Also, i find it rather cute. NOOBIE NOOB NOOB I shall be.
Do contribute your valuable ideas on how to improve my blog.
